Les principales m\u00e9thodes de traitement de l'acier sont les suivantes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">- Laminage : La billette de m\u00e9tal est pass\u00e9e dans l'espace entre une paire de rouleaux rotatifs (de diff\u00e9rentes formes). Sous l'effet de la compression des rouleaux, la section transversale du mat\u00e9riau est r\u00e9duite et sa longueur augment\u00e9e. Il s'agit de la m\u00e9thode de production la plus courante pour l'acier, principalement utilis\u00e9e pour produire des profil\u00e9s, des plaques et des tuyaux. On distingue le laminage \u00e0 froid et le laminage \u00e0 chaud.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">- Forgeage : M\u00e9thode de traitement sous pression qui utilise la force d'impact r\u00e9ciproque du marteau de forgeage ou la pression de la presse pour donner \u00e0 la billette la forme et la taille voulues. Elle est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement divis\u00e9e en deux cat\u00e9gories : le forgeage libre et le forgeage sous pression. Elle est souvent utilis\u00e9e pour produire des mat\u00e9riaux de grande section, des billettes et d'autres mat\u00e9riaux dont les dimensions transversales sont plus importantes. L'\u00e9tirage : Il s'agit d'une m\u00e9thode de traitement qui consiste \u00e0 tirer la pi\u00e8ce m\u00e9tallique lamin\u00e9e (profil\u00e9, tube, produit, etc.) \u00e0 travers le trou de la matrice afin de r\u00e9duire la surface de la section transversale et d'augmenter la longueur. La plupart d'entre eux sont utilis\u00e9s pour l'addition \u00e0 froid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-L'extrusion : Il s'agit d'une m\u00e9thode de traitement qui consiste \u00e0 placer le m\u00e9tal dans un cylindre d'extrusion ferm\u00e9, \u00e0 appliquer une pression \u00e0 une extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 et \u00e0 presser le m\u00e9tal hors d'un trou de matrice sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9 pour obtenir un produit fini de la m\u00eame forme et de la m\u00eame taille.
